Novotel Andorra

Excellent location to stay in Andorra. There was an awkward moment during check-in when I was asked to give my credit card to the receptionist. Even though the receptionist left my CC within visual distance from where I stood, I felt a bit uneasy about handing it over to him. I wouldn't normally done this in any situation, my CC should be kept safe in my own hand. And I have never been asked to 'give' my credit card to the receptionist anywhere before. For peace of mind to those reading this, please do not do what I did there. Awkwardness aside, the room was clean although a bit dated, so does the bathroom. Bedsheets were fresh and clean, everything was spotless. Thumbs up to the cleaners! The interior is definitely not the typical Novotel I've known. The only thing that reminded me that I stayed in Novotel was the soap dispensers in the bathroom. Breakfast was really good, with a good spread of fruits, cheese, sausages etc. I'd give 5-star to the staff that served me during breakfast time.

Rooms are a bit outdated, but nevertheless very clean. The breakfast is very good and a lot of choice. Wellness in the Mercure hotel is good but unfortunately a walk with clothes on through the street first.

We stayed 3 nights at the Novotel in July. The hotel itself is rather old and outdated. For the price you can definitely find better options. Especially because parking is rather expensive (26€/night). Very close by you find public parking which is cheaper if you stay 2 or more days. Although it is very convenient that you can use the infrastructure of the Mercure next door. Breakfast offers a broad range but quality is not good. Better less from my point of view.
