Novotel Itajai

When we came to check in the area, it was very cold outside, and AC from ceiling blew cold Air into our heads and we started feeling 🤕 bad a d cold. Most of the people who work there do not speak English. the sauna located on 2 nd floor is the asset

Reception staff not friendly, unwilling to help. Couple times that I needed support they were less than helpful, with a face like they were doing me a favor and wouldn't even look me in the eye or walk out of the back room to talk to me. One day I lost my cellular and was really concern about it, I asked the from desk to help and look at the cameras to see if I had left my cellphone over the balcony or took with me and they said they couldn't help, that it needed to be the manager and I would had to wait the next day. And to sum-up they didn't provided me with receipt and told me it would be sent to my e-mail, as occurred before on another stay, receipts were not sent and I had to call the reception to request it. Besides that I hurt my self one day in the room and stained the sheets, next day housekeeping kept the same stained sheets on the bed.

This is not the first time we stay in Novotel Itajaí. Every year me n my husband spent twice or thrice holiday in Itajaí. Honestly, your hotel is comfortable for us compared to the other hotel in Itajaí. But this time, we had a very unpleasant experience with ur hotel. The hotel is only for us to sleep, we spent our day time outside. That night, after we went back, there is no hand soup by the sink. It’s ok, because things could happen. But, when I wanna take shower, even the shampoo and conditioner bottle is empty! Do u think it’s acceptable?I was neglecting in the washroom and feeling so helpless. ( because my husband was having coffee downstairs, I was alone in the room) End up I decided to call receiption to ask them refill it. I can’t speak Portuguese and request someone speaking English to talk to me,and the guy over the phone keep telling me: “I speak Spanish” I think Itajaí is a tourist place, English is a international country, I really can’t relate Spanish with it! To make it short, I can’t get the shampoo refill in order to take a shower before going to sleep! Because no one understand me and he is not trying to do something either. And in the morning, my husband woke up by the body being bite by bed Mites. You can see by the photos attached, until today, it’s still having red marks on his shoulder and back. To conclude, this was an extremely uncomfortable experience for us! And we r here asking for the compensation! Especially all the bed bite as shown!! The room design was kind of weird too, I knocked my knee twice because you covered the sharp Engle with white bed sheet, I didn’t expect it’s so hard!!
