Novotel Rotterdam Brainpark

We stayed for four nights. They have really spacious rooms, especially the executive suite. The service was exceptional and the bed was very comfortable. The only downside was the breakfast which could be improved. The hotel should consider having more than one coffee machine to avoid waiting lines especially considering the capacity since they have many guests. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Wonderful stay. The hotel overall was very nice and clean, and great customer service throughout. We had a big family-sized bedroom everything was well presented. The Only main issue we had was at breakfast, the pancake machine was so slow and there was only 1 machine. The breakfast area got quite busy so it was moving very slowly. Also some days there was an option for the chef to cook other types of eggs but again when it was busy understandably this wasn't an option. Overall the breakfast was decent enough, a lot of variety with cooked and continental dishes. My kids thoroughly enjoyed the kitchen/play area by the reception, which kept them entertained.

I stayed at Novotel Hotel in Rotterdam for four nights with a friend, and unfortunately, the experience was far below expectations — especially considering the price. We paid €180 per night, which is quite expensive for what we received. From the moment we arrived, we were charged extra for parking — something that wasn’t clearly communicated at the time of booking. Then we found out our room did not include a refrigerator, which was shocking for a hotel at this price point. When we asked, we were told that having a fridge requires an extra charge. We had drinks and food with us, and not having access to even a small fridge was very inconvenient. The only option offered was to go downstairs to use a shared fridge, which is highly impractical after a long day out. On top of that, the air conditioning stopped working and began blowing warm air. For almost two days, we had no proper cooling and no windows to open for fresh air. The room became extremely uncomfortable and unpleasant to stay in. Since we were close to the end of our stay, we chose not to change hotels, but I believe it’s important to share this experience so other travelers are aware of what to expect. Novotel is part of a well-known brand, so we expected professional service, transparency, and basic comforts — but unfortunately, this stay was disappointing in every way.
