Novotel Singapore on Stevens

We went for a little staycay, thinking it would be just nice to have the pool and gym at our doorstep. We left wowed, refreshed, and spoilt. From the entrance, we were greeted by Salwin at the check-in desk who, upon finding out we were celebrating a birthday, ensured that he accompanied us up to the lounge for drinks, and a quieter check-in. Sabrina, who did the administration for us, was also personable and had a great sense of humour. She and her housekeeping team ensured that our room had birthday treats waiting for us, which were very appreciated. Their smiles, relaxed and genuinely warm welcomes, went a long way in settling us and starting the staycay from our arrival. Other staff that deserve a shout-out include Zee from Winestone and Marcus from the buffet breakfast. In their own ways, they were welcoming and checked in on us about meals even though they were busy through meal services. The buffet breakfast had chinese and Western options, egg and noodle stations, fruit/salad bar, bread, and pastries. I liked the Indian food options, which were tasty. Bed was comfy with a great shower. I loved that there was a water-filtering tap in the room for drinks and coffee. Nesspresso capsules were also the decompostable types, and I applaud the hotel's attempt at environmental protection. This hotel's location is a 20-minute stroll to Orchard Road and has an onsite 7-11 . We also had dinner at Enjoy Eating House, a tenant of the hotel, and enjoyed the hokkien noodles and salt-baked barramundi fish.

I had breakfast at FoodExchange today, and I noticed a significant improvement in both the food quality and service compared to my last visit. The staff were very attentive and professional. I also had a great conversation with Marcus, who gave me helpful tips on places to visit in Singapore. Overall, it was an excellent experience, and I’m very satisfied with the the kind of rare service!

I recently visited this buffet and had a fantastic experience! The food was absolutely delicious – a great variety, well-prepared, and full of flavor. Everything was fresh and nicely presented. A special mention goes to the wonderful staff – Louis, May, and Ivy. They were incredibly friendly, attentive, and made the entire dining experience even more enjoyable. Their warm service and professionalism truly stood out. Highly recommended for both the food and the excellent service. I’ll definitely be coming back!
