Excellent decoration & atmosphere! The staff was professional & humane with a great dose of humor ✨ Location: very central. *Amazed at how calm and private it felt inside: more like home instead of an overpopulated feel that hotels of similar status&size have (Only downside: the gym was basic without a lot of equipment)

I recently stayed at the Occidental Ljubljana Hotel, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the modern and stylish decor, as well as the warm, welcoming atmosphere. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, always going out of their way to ensure that my stay was as comfortable as possible. The room itself was spacious, clean, and well-appointed, offering all the amenities one could need, including a comfortable bed and a well-stocked minibar. The bathroom was pristine, with high-quality toiletries and plenty of towels. One of the highlights of my stay was the hotel’s breakfast. It offered a wide variety of fresh options, from local specialties to international favorites. It was the perfect way to start the day before heading out to explore Ljubljana. The hotel’s location is another huge plus—just a short distance from the city center, making it easy to explore all the main attractions. There are also great restaurants and cafes nearby, so you’ll never be short of options for dining. Overall, I highly recommend the Occidental Ljubljana Hotel for anyone visiting the city. It offers excellent service, a fantastic location, and a comfortable, relaxing environment. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit!

Beautiful hotel, great location. Our superior castle view room on the 4th floor was truly stunning, spacious, and comfortable. Nice linens, and appreciate the spare toiletry kits. Just the staff was not particularly friendly and welcoming, although they got the job done when we asked for a few things. Also nearly impossible to get someone on the phone when we tried calling to understand how the parking worked yesterday evening upon arrival. They picked up once out of six tries. Also need to work on the ambiance and lighting for the restaurant/bar that was supposedly open until 10, but was super dark and sad at 8:30 in the evening. Overall great value though and we would go back.
