I had a wonderful experience during my stay at Hotel Odyssee. The service was excellent, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I especially want to thank Ayman from customer service, he went above and beyond to assist me throughout my stay, and I truly appreciated his support and professionalism. The hotel is located in a great area, right in the heart of downtown, which made it easy to explore the city. It also offers a beautiful view that made my stay even more enjoyable.

I'll start with the best: the location, especially because it's surrounded by top hotels (Marriott, Hyatt, Sofitel, etc.). The rest was deplorable: unfriendly staff, inadequate elevators for a decent hotel, the room was like a noise box all night, and hotel amenities, such as the restaurant and shopping mall, were closed. And the worst part was breakfast. It was between 7:00 and 10:00 am, and by 7:50 am, they still didn't have juice or the kitchen ready to make omelets. In addition to being absolutely filthy, the food counters, tables, coffee machines, and show kitchens were absolutely filthy (the worst part is that if what you offer to the public is in this condition, how will the rest of the facilities be). If you have no other alternative, fine; if not, I recommend looking for another hotel.

No air conditioning and the rooms are ridiculously hot. Can't open the windows either. Shower water was a disgusting brown colour. No apology from staff. Had to change hotels. Following the hotels "clarification" I would add the following points: 1. The power outage was not communicated in advance. There was a sign on the reception stating the outage was from 10am to 12noon. We checked in at 2pm and were told the power would be out "for a few more hours". It come on around 4pm so significantly longer than the 2 hours advertised. 2. The water did not return to normal "immediately after". As you will see from other people's reviews it remained an issue. 3. We had already moved rooms once, it should not be up to the guests to trial each room until they find one that is fit for purpose. 4. While you may be in the winter season, for people from colder climates will find the heating unnecessary and prefer their rooms to be cooler. The centrally controlled system is not a 4* system. 5. Finally the promised refund has still not been provided.
