Omni Providence Hotel

Prime location. Great service. Solid rooms. In town for a gym meet at the convention center. Location is beyond perfect. It’s a short catwalk to the convention center or the mall. The train station (if you fly from Boston) and great local neighborhoods (like the Italian district and the college setting around Brown) are all very walkable. The front desk staff were awesome and sorted out some unnecessary complexity caused by event company that had the block (so we had to book thru them). They were very accommodating and pleasant. Great experience. Our room was solid and the beds comfortable (on the firm side). Some signs of age and tiredness - most notably the badly worn/discolored arm chair (which we basically use as a bag/clothing stand, anyway). Overall, it’s a great property with friendly service and unbeatable location.

Great location with direct access to the Providence Place Mall and downtown attractions. Rooms are clean, spacious, and comfortable, and the service is professional and courteous. Stayed last week for a business trip and would definitely turn! Don't get the rooms facing highway as it can get quite noisy and hard to sleep. Only reason I gave 5 stars is the service, location and staff.

This was an amazing hotel..my only gripe was they gave me an handicap accessible bathroom with light pressure in the shower. I'm pretty sure they would have fixed the situation if we asked..but we made the most of it. Any other minor issue we had they fixed. Such as we had 1 towel, wash cloth and hand towel in the room. They quickly fixed it by bringing up 10 of each. Lol. The hotel is connected (via a tunnel) to a 3 story mall. I will be back and will be staying here again. The hotel gym was nice and clean too..with plenty of towels and water stations
