Wished we stayed longer. Only stayed one night at Once upon the River, but loved every bit of the hotel we were able to explore. Built with nature in mind on the riverside, you’re greeted by the chirping of birds in the morning and fantastic breakfast at the restaurant. Attentive and accommodating staff, large spacious rooms and only 15 minutes from the airport. A great relaxing start to our Kerala trip

The ambience and the service were top notch. The food was extremely horrible. Even the very basic Kerala banana fritters turned out to be the worst I had in my whole life. We had lunch and dinner, both were horrible. The breakfast served next day was a decent one. Staff is friendly, helpful and well mannered. Premises are neat and rooms are cozy and comfortable.
