One&Only Gorilla's Nest

Just a great place to visit and stay. Forget about being close to the Gorillas, this place is so nice and has so many other things to do. Service levels beyond a 5 rating. Daily surprises and if there is something they can do for you, they probably already have. I love we were always asked what else could be done for us. The food was stunning. Lunch was always a joy. Probably the biggest challenge of our stay was trying to eat all the amazing food!!! The rooms were luxurious. The bed comfortable with great linens. We were sad to leave that is for sure!

From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning design, serene atmosphere, and world-class hospitality. A huge thank you to Julian, the resort manager, who welcomed us and showed us aroudn the resort. The entire team was exceptional, kind, professional, and genuinely welcoming. Special shoutout to Tonny at the Nest Bar, his service, charm, and personalized drink recommendations made our evening extra special. Everything about the resort is perfectly thought out, luxurious yet grounded in nature. This is, without a doubt, the best hospitality experience in Rwanda.

After an unforgettable week at the fabulous O&O Nyungwe House, we simply couldn’t leave Rwanda without visiting the sister property, O&O Gorilla’s Nest, for at least two days. And what an incredible journey it turned out to be, once again! Just when we thought nothing could surprise us anymore, we were again left speechless. From the moment we arrived, the warm and joyful welcome, complete with traditional dance and the kind gesture of Mr. Tim, the General Manager, personally greeting us, made us feel exceptionally special and welcomed. It was truly a beautiful touch that went above and beyond, huge thank you! The resort itself is a dream come true. The forest, surrounded by lush gardens with white and pink roses, and just a stone’s throw from the Volcanoes National Park, it feels like a fairytale come to life. Our villa, with its large glass doors opening to a spacious terrace and a stunning green yard, offered ultimate privacy. The tranquility and cozy fireplace, outdoor shower, and bathtub made it feel like we had the entire place to ourselves. We felt the same warmth and exclusivity during dinner in the library and when the wonderful Joy arranged a special outdoor dinner by the fireplace. Joy truly lives up to her name and she brought us so much happiness! A special thanks to the extraordinary Sandra at the pool and Club One for predicting my needs and even creating a special cocktail with sparkling water and rose petals. It was absolutely delightful, just WOW!!! Benoit, you’re a rock star! You made last minute gorilla trekking arrangements for my husband and even sorted out the permit, and the online payment issue. We couldn’t have done it without you! The spa and activities are definitely a must try, and our favorite spot was the yoga tent by the helipad. We had the most peaceful last half day, relaxing and napping while listening to the birds and breathing in the fresh air. We absolutely loved everything, the breathtaking location, the outstanding service, the warm hospitality, and the attention to detail. It was, without a doubt, a truly One&Only, unforgettable experience!
