Onomo Hotel Dar es Salaam

Amazing staff, everyone smiling the whole time and extremely welcoming. Great kitchen!! Fully enjoyed each of the meals on the menu. I can strongly advise this hotel as they will definitely provide a warm welcome and an unforgettable stay! Asante sana!

Visited the hotel for some coffee when I was around the CBD. The service was very welcoming and fast. The location is nice; centrally located. The cafe downstairs doesn’t have a lot of options but it does serve some good coffee. Would recommend for a casual business meeting or to grab a cup of coffee on your own. Outdoor seating is also available.

The hotel is in a good location, but it does not meet the standards of a 4-star propertymore on the 3 stars. It’s more suited for short stays. The pool is quite small, and the front desk staff were generally indifferent—from failing to assist with arranging a proper safari tour (offering only basic taxi services) to making promises they never followed through on. When I needed help locating a police station for my missing documents, they showed little concern. I eventually had to rely on a colleague’s hotel concierge for assistance. Based on this experience. Additionally, they changed our room three times simply because we mentioned we’d be checking out early, in order to accommodate another family. I would not recommend this hotel.
