Orchid Country Club

Buffet Lunch is must try. Cheapest international budget buffet in Singapore. Crowded on weekends, mostly. Seafood is great. Prawns and mutton was great. Crab was not that fresh. Spice level - low-medium. Low according to Indian standards, but may be a bit high as per western expectation of an international buffet.

I like the place. Had to do a last minute booking but its the only hotel in Yishun. Room was very spacious and nice, albeit old furniture. Great view and balcony overlooking the golf course. Prefer this compared to city views. They don't provide water bottle which is alarming like why? But they have a free shuttle to MRT which is great! And there is a supermarket with almost everything you need. Would go again but its really expensive.

attended an event at occ. the food was ok and the waiter served my table sometimes in portions sometimes in dishes as whole. i served myself drinks. i also cleared my plate after lunch and tea break. great thing about occ is free outdoor parking and ntuc, subway. last time spent staycation there, furniture in the rooms were old. location wise, if you prefer somewhere remote from city/town, this is a place for your consideration. they do have shuttle bus service.
