Orient Beach Hotel

We had amazing unforgettable stay at Orient Beach Hotel. Absolutely loved the location, the rooms, and the staff. We stayed in the Ocean view room and had a great view of the water every morning. The room was modern clean and comfortable. The area was wonderful and very close walk to beach clubs/restaurants. Thank you again to the staff that helped return something that we forgot in the safe! Can’t wait to return back again!!

The hotel was very nice and clean. Our room had a beautiful view of the ocean and Palm trees. The staff went out of their way to make sure the room was clean, we had clean towels, and all of our needs were met. When my prescription sunglasses broke, they were kind enough to let me borrow a tiny screw driver to fix them and when we realized we forgot to bring our plug adaptor (don’t forget yours), they loaned us one. Our room had usb plugs for our phones and electronics and that was very convenient. Parking was tight but we always had a space. I wouldn’t get a large car though, it just too hard parking anywhere on the island with a larger car. I wouldn’t like to make a specific note: I was originally mistaken and thought the beach area and the breakfast service was provided by the hotel. I saw several reviews against the hotel because of the breakfast and I was guilty of the same until I had a dialogue with the hotel manager. The hotel and Kko restaurant and beach area are separate entities but apparently have an agreement to accommodate the hotel guests. With that in mind, if you have a particular dietary restriction, let the hotel know so they can try to make arrangements with the restaurant on your behalf. As I thought they were all together, I tried to work with the restaurant servers about my gluten allergy. I think it would have worked out more in my favor if the hotel handled it. The people at the hotel were pleasers and truly wanted to make it a wonderful experience. I would definitely recommend orient beach hotel and we will definitely return.

The room was great. Clean comfortable and more throw pillows than you will ever need. And the top floor view is perfect. The breakfast is horrible. Minimal, barely anything, crappy carafes of coffee and bug ridden tables. Just go up the street and pay for a good breakfast, or make one in your room. The customer service was not great, rather lackluster with barely a smile. If this is hurtful, I apologize , but how else would you know our experience if we did not account for it? We had to leave early due to an emergency back home, but no refund of any kind, not even partial, no mercy except a credit that must be used in a year. As though it is easy for people to recover the lost payment, emergency costs, and book again, seems short sighted on their part. So be warned, with a great room, comes, well, pretty much nothing else. We would go back, but with managed expectations.
