This is one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at so far, and when I arrived in Cusco, I chose it as my first stop. From the moment we checked in, the staff were friendly and attentive. The room was beautifully decorated in a charming, traditional style that added to the overall experience. The service was outstanding. On our first day, my wife became unwell due to the high altitude. I contacted the front desk, and they quickly brought an oxygen tank to our room. The staff were experienced and regularly checked our oxygen levels to ensure we were all okay. They continued this care two to four times a day for both my wife, my sons, and myself. The breakfast area was lovely, with live music adding a warm ambiance. The food selection was varied and satisfying—especially the hearty chicken noodle soup. Eggs were prepared fresh in any style you preferred. The hotel’s location was also perfect—right across from a well-known museum and within easy walking distance of many great restaurants.
Great experience. Nice quiet room at a historic site. A lot of arts and history in the hotel. Every one was nice and welcoming. Especially the doorman Walter who not only welcomed us when we arrived but also gave a lot of recommendations from local perspectives. Breakfast was great with local tastes. We really enjoyed the stay.
This hotel is pricey but you get what you pay for. It is excellent, a true 5 star experience in a historic place in a perfect location. The staff are all very helpful and kind. One staff member named Willington stood out in his kindness and help that he gave to my husband who needed oxygen several times (provided by the hotel). He went out of his way to help us with whatever we needed. He deserves a raise.
