So as a disabled person the parcel or site is big and not able to get from place to place. The chance of hiring a mobility scooter would be great idea. Also not able to walk from the site anywhere due to traffic. There is a shuttle bus but on the hour for some parts of the day.
We recently stayed at Parc Hotel Peschiera and overall had a pleasant experience. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and well-maintained throughout our stay. The hotel is part of a large resort with spacious grounds, giving it a relaxing, open feel. One of the biggest conveniences was the free shuttle bus to and from Peschiera town, making it easy to explore the area without needing a car. It’s also very well located for visiting Gardaland, which is just a short drive away. However, there were a few downsides. We visited the week before Easter, and unfortunately, there weren’t many activities or entertainment options running at the time, which made the resort feel a little quiet and underutilized. Additionally, as both my son and I are Celiac, we found the breakfast options lacking. There were no clear gluten-free labels, and communication was difficult as not many of the staff spoke English well enough to assist with dietary concerns. For a resort of this size and standard, clearer allergen information and better communication would have been appreciated. In summary, Parc Hotel Peschiera is a comfortable and well-located base for exploring the region, especially with kids. However, travelers with dietary needs may need to plan ahead, and activity seekers might want to check what’s on during their dates of stay.
Very poor hotel. After a 16 hour day travelling, got to the hotel and was told the restaurant was open, so we could get food. As we went there a member of staff shooed us away saying we couldn’t dine there. Then got told to go to the bar where all we were offered was toast. Included in our booking was breakfast which was also not available. This hotel definitely felt like off peak times for them so was basically empty we felt so unwelcome and uncomfortable straight away that we left the next morning after arriving late and booking another hotel elsewhere. Would definitely not recommend this hotel or area as not what was expected when visiting lake Garda.
