Fantastic place! Great location, good beach, great food, excellent service! We will come here again!

This place is nice and sunny and fishy

To start with the positive aspects: the hotel has this rustic specific Italian touch when it comes to interior design and furniture. Accessible entry and elevator are an obvious advantage. The staff really impressed me by being welcoming, smiley, knowledgeable and professional. I'll happily mention Maria (housekeeper) and Joey (restaurant waiter) who spoke several languages (English, German and Italian) and were always ready to assist in any way. Another good thing is that there hotel is relatively close to the beach and provides comfortable sunbeds and facilities on the beach. Negative aspects: this list is going to be longer. Again, the hotel is close by several restaurants and bars that entertain guests until far beyond midnight, so if you're planning to actually sleep in the night time - choose a room that has a balcony on the opposite side, or better yet another location, as the beats reverberate though the glass windows and will keep you awake for several hours. The interned speed is awful. Though they relate that the speed is exceptional in every room you will have difficulty even in communicating via chats, forget any type of video or audio communication. The hotel has a pool and the access is free for all hotel guests, but! The catch is that if you want to enjoy some time at the pool you have to pay a fee of 5 euro per day per person for a sun bed. To be mentioned is that no towel or water is included and the sunbeds are dirty (open pool therefore bird excrements are all over the place). The negative aspect that tops off all the others is the hotel's restaurant. Every day was like a lottery, you never knew what you will get to receive on your plate. Though they use good products, the kitchen staff has absolutely no idea whatsoever when it comes to preparation methods, seasoning or plating. Most of the times the food was tasteless, undercooked, overcooked and plated horribly. I will simply attach 2 pictures of the dishes that were delivered on August 15th, an evening that was very promising and advertised as being unforgettable, but ended up being just a disaster. Around 200 people waited for their starters for about 40 min, the main courses were delivered in approximately the same amount of time and I have no idea what happened afterwards because we decided that we don't want to wait for the desert. The food was tasteless and literally dropped on the plates with splashes and fingertips all over the dishes. As a conclusion : this hotel is far behind being a 4 star one. Maybe, in the past it was, but now it is failing to deliver even half of what they promise in their description. The 2 starts were given thanks to the decor and staff. Would I go back again? Firmly - No!
