Pensativo House Hotel

We were very pleased during our stay at Pensavito hotel. The place exceeded all our expectations. Very clean and spacious room, helpful staff and beautiful hotel in general. The room had a huge bedroom with great quality bedding and a separate living room which was a pleasant surprise. There was a balcony with a jacuzzi. We felt we were living in a palace. I would rate the hotel and 5 stars and would love to stay here again.

Solid hotel about a 10 minute walk from the central plaza. The service is great, the rooms are comfy, and the whole property is beautiful. Food could be a bit better, and sometimes our room wasn’t cleaned until late afternoon, but they do leave you cookies every day. Breakfast is included, yet we ended up checking out different coffee shops in town instead. You can use the gym and pool at their sister hotel about two blocks away, which is a nice perk. They also set up tours through A La Carte Tours, though we found those to be a bit pricier than other options around. We accidentally mixed up our dates of our stay and three days prior to our arrival, they changed our reservation free of charge, they definitely are accommodating.

A SCAM. Long story short I booked a room through their sister hotel and within an hour they tried to give me a lesser room here. I said no, I want what I paid for or give me a refund, and they said no they are keeping the money. Don't book with casa encantada either!
