Penzion Zlaty Orol

Great hotel, in a quiet village. Stayed for a night as part of a cycling holiday (started in Kosice), comfy beds, great restaurant downstairs with a good selection of traditional Slovak and other food, good beer and the wellness area is well equipped, steam room, infrared and Finnish saunas, whirlpool and small swimming pool. Breakfast was typical buffet style, eggs, meat, cheeses, bread, yogurt, salad. We were able to keep our bikes in the building (ask in advance!). Small playground for kids at the back of the restaurant. Staff were very friendly, reception spoke good English, overall a really positive experience!

An excellent accommodation facility for appropriate price. Great portion to eat and delicious home made juicy cakes with helpful and servile staff always with willingness to meet requests and give good advice what to do or eat. This is a perfect place for those who seek relax and peaceful atmosphere while using wellness option at the place. All is clean and hygienic fresh. For me the best place for weekend and week break after long winter pr summer escape from routine.I will fully recommend it to all my friends.

Clean rooms, nice staff. The menu offers a range of international food together with local slovakian specialties at a very reasonable price.
