Been here a few days now so feel we have seen all there is to comment on. As many other reviews say this is an excellent spot with very good staff throughout from reception to room servicing. Very nice mix of nationalities as well which is a nice change. We were fine but would not suit anyone with difficulties with stairs as plenty in the hotel and plenty in the town. Takes a few days to navigate the place and in our room we had to walk up 2 flights of stairs then down 3 more to get to breakfast which was almost outside our room. Not an issue though and makes it feel quirky. We went for breakfast option and very impressed with all the standard of food on offer. Never a queue and staff very good at keeping things moving. I used the spa once for a massage with Allan who was excellent and well worth a visit. Most days we just got a Bolt down to the beach - they are there in minutes and cost on average 7 Euro. Our first time in Malta and certainly enjoyed the strange experience of being in hot climate but loads of things very familiar. The fisherman in me says bring some gear if into rock fishing. I went most days and caught loads of fish I've never seen before. A 4 piece travel LRF rod and few plastics are all that's needed. Tackle shop in town if needs be.
We loved this hotel! I stayed for 3 nights with my boyfriend and it was so relaxing, an amazing location, and the best views of the sunset ever! Definitely get a room with a view, the sunset is absolutely breathtaking! Loved the breakfast and the sauna and how close it was to walk to plenty of restaurants! We would definitely stay again!!!
Wife and I spent a week here with our 3 boys aged 16,12 and 5 and we all absolutely loved it. Room was very spacious with the ability to self cater, and the view from our room over Mellieha the bay and church was fantastic. Staff and house keeping were excellent as were the associated restaurants and bars. The cave bar by the infinity pool was perfect for snacks drinks and full meals too.
