It was the best hotel we have ever been in! City center so GREAT location! The people were ALL AMAZING. I encountered a health issue and they were so willing to help! I cannot believe they helped me that much! I still cannot believe it how lucky I was to have them there! Also the rooms were super clean, super comfy and warm! And the breakfast was to die for! Literally if I could out more starts I would! Special thanks to amazing Ana and Heizel ! You girls rock !
I recently stayed at this hotel in Madrid and had a nice experience overall. The location is excellent, making it easy to explore the city. The breakfast was delicious and offered a wide variety of options, which was a great way to start the day. The staff was polite and friendly, always ready to help with anything we needed. Especially Heizel. However, I was disappointed that I couldn't simply grab my coffee and breakfast to go. Since my son was participating in a soccer program, his bus left very early, making it difficult to sit down and have a proper breakfast. I’ve never stayed in a hotel that restricted or complained about guests taking a simple coffee and a quick bite—like a sandwich or eggs—with them. This policy was quite inconvenient for us. If you’re looking for a hotel near your soccer-playing child’s program, think twice to avoid any unpleasant situations. Hotels in the U.S. operate very differently, and we heard that many others in Madrid follow the same guest-friendly approach as American hotels. Aside from this issue, the hotel was a good choice, but I would advise future guests to consider this aspect before booking.
I cannot recommend this hotel. I’ve stayed in dozens of hotels so far in Madrid on business trips and this is the worst. Everything about it looks cheap and feels cheap. The entrance is disguised well, it’s easy to miss it. The reception desk is the world’s smallest, not what you expect in a hotel. The corridors decor is horrible and feels like it was inspired by shipping containers, dark and with an impression of unsafe environment. The room I had was awful and I hated my stay there. Again it was dark and with a weird ceiling. The shower was pathetic and I’m sure the shower itself was bought from Alibaba website, and the water goes all over the floor because there is no door. Don’t get me started on the condescending “this is a towel” label proudly displayed…….on a towel. The wardrobes are weak and the cheapest possible. The “desk” in the room was a joke, I was laughing so much - the telephone takes up almost 50%. The bedside unit was a shelf just. The pillows are completely worn out and the bedding again looks and feels cheap. Everything is grey and white and cold. The breakfast area was shared with reception, the corridor and elevators, I didn’t like that. The dining tables and chairs, lowest quality. Food also the lowest quality. I’ll never be back here
