The hotel is good. The food was nice but there was some weird meals too. The drinks were very nice especially the cocktails. The rooms are very big and comfortable. The staff was very polite and offered us a room before check-in. There are so many free sunbeds on the beach despite some agencies saying otherwise. The walk to the beach is 4-5 minutes. The area of the hotel is very nice and close to everything. The animation was very fun and beautiful(dancing, theatre, live music). Very beautiful and luxurious looking hotel but its not 5 stars. It is 4 or below(depending on the person). We enjoyed our stay at this hotel and it compares to MPM Astoria but a little better.
We have just came back home from this hotel. The rooms (we had an apartment) were big and clean only on the surface (NOT behind furniture, under the bed or couch or corner walls), beds very comfortable. The food was ok, the pool water was clean and warm. There were enough pool and sea chairs. The only two problems I found were the missing bar at the beach and the fact that my daughter's earpods were missing from the room (7th floor). The day we came we left them on the night stand and didn't move them. So...be careful of your belongings.
All together it is a nice hotel, but not much more than that. The rooms themselves are ok, although the absence of accessible power outlets was an inconvenience. The elevators were really disappointing, fitting 3-4 persons at best : with this size of hotel the wait to get up to you room or down to the pool / restaurant can take 10 minutes in rush hours.. The food was mediocre at best. Not much variety and some dishes i found not edible.. although, it would be fair to say that you wouldn't leave hungry. The variety of fruit was very limited (basically only watermelon). The most important note about the food is the hotel (and bulgaria as a whole) have very little awareness of food sensitivities - looking for gluten free food was a challenge.. they had dome pre-packed gluten free bread for us because we contacted the hotel in advance - but that was all.. The staff here are mostly reasonably nice, but an occasional poor service representative can ruin an otherwise nice day (the guy behind the ice cream counter by the pool refused to understand that gluten sensitive people can't have their ice cream in a waffle cup)... Last, but not least - the hotel doesn't seem to handle well a full capacity scenarios : towards the end of our stay the hotel was full and it was showing in both the pool being packed (no available sun beds) and the overcrowded feeling in the dinning room, where people could spend up to 15 minutes looking for a table to sit at... Overall - a solid 3/5... Pretty sure i will not be staying here again and can't really recommend the place..
