Porto Said Hotel & Spa

The animation team was very cooperative and welcoming.A special thanks for the young men Mohamed, Zaid Nouby, kadri. Also the wonderful girls Rahma , Hager, Rawan, and Malak for making the day full of fun and made my kids very excited to come again. The hotel is truly amazing — from the beautiful destination and exceptional view to the overall atmosphere, everything was incredibly welcoming. The beach is very clean and well-maintained, full of greenery, which adds so much charm to the place. The swimming pools are perfectly set, and the view around them is absolutely stunning. The entire working area and facilities were impressive, and I genuinely appreciated the effort put into making the surroundings pleasant and enjoyable. However, I do have a couple of comments. While the hotel itself is fantastic, the tidiness of the rooms could have been better — they didn’t quite meet the expected standard. Most notably, the food was disappointing. The quality didn’t reflect the high level of the hotel, the variety was quite limited, and the taste wasn’t appealing or suitable for different preferences.

We spent the night of August 15 to 16, 2025….woken up at 4 am to no air conditioning in the entire hotel and the smell of mildew and the sea seeping through the rooms…there also was no water so you couldn’t even wash your face never mind showering or using the toilet…we checked out at 7.30 am after being told by the manager that there is nothing he can do. We were made to wait for our rooms because they wanted to make sure everything was clean…toilet seat was dirty and inside the toilet too…the shampoo and conditioner containers had exploded and come back alive and in general staff don’t clean because the tables in the breakfast area had long covers but under the table were empty cups and bottles and food strewn everywhere…such a shame.

The resort looks clean on the surface and has a nice natural atmosphere with greenery all around. However, I was shocked to find a gecko (lizard) inside my room, which made it very hard to feel safe or sleep peacefully. The biggest issue wasn't the lizard itself, but the management's careless response — simply saying "it's normal" and doing nothing. This is not the level of service or attention you expect from a place that claims to offer a luxury experience. I will not return, and I would not recommend this place for anyone who values peace of mind and basic safety inside their room
