Post Hotel Mittenwald

This is now my favourite hotel now in Germany till date, and I have travelled many times. Ofcourse Mittenwald is beautiful and every angle has a breathtaking view, coupled with this hotel being in the city center. In addition, from a product perspective the hotel is excellent. The building and its rooms have a vintage vibe meets modern amenties. Each room has a balcony to allow guests to experience Mittenwald beauty! The breakfast is extensive. There are so many common areas, with different views and vibe (including a fireplace- not switched on when I went in summer). The minibar is included in the price (never seen this before) and all amenities are free (unlike other hotels around). The sauna is divine 😍, from their glass door pool temperature controlled pool to the modern sauna facilities itself. Three sauna rooms plus a relaxation area with swings, comfortable sofas, throws - I could probably stay there. However, what makes this hotel stand out is the service ❤️❤️❤️. There is nothing the staff says no to. They allowed me to use the sauna without hesitation post checkout, because I came back drenched to pick up my stored luggage. They are friendly and always trying to help. In short, my experience is that they really emphasize customer happiness over anything else. I will definitely come back. We had two absolutely wonderful days in beautiful Mittenwald. Post Hotel is a fantastic place for stay, great service and good food. We would love to come back another time.

Spacious, clean rooms but a bit dated with dim lighting. No coffee / tea or kettle provided in room but staff was kind to give when asked. Low floor rooms were a bit noisy. Hearty breakfast with a good spread. Staff was very helpful even though overwhelmed with a lot of guests. Location is great right in the heart of town and 5 mins away from station.
