Pousada A Lanzada

A fantastic hotel right by the beach! Have stayed here twice, and both experiences were excellent. The rooms were clean, spacious, very comfortable and with large bathrooms. There is plenty of free car parking, which is a big plus. Also, there is a tunnel that leads directly to the beach, allowing guests to avoid crossing the main road. Breakfast was very nice, with a good variety. Staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!!

Overpriced hotel with a great location. Stayed with my wife for a couple of nights right after our wedding. We noted this at the time of reservation was made. We were disappointed that the room we were given had two twin beds pushed together. I spent two night falling through the crack. The staff at the front desk was always polite and warm. The hotel was ok, and the breakfast was decent. If the price point were lower, it could be a good option… At the set price, it isn’t worth it.

New hotel just across the road from a beach. Everything is fine in this hotel, rooms are modern, large and clean, decent breakfast. However it lacks any sort of charm, despite being in quite a nice old building, e.g. walls in corridors or rooms are completely bare, giving it a posh premier inn style feel. Probably wouldn’t return at €220 a night for a double room, one can stay at a top Parador for that price. By the way the sea is way too cold to swim in, even in August - head further south, e.g. Baiona, if you’re hoping to spend some time in the water.
