Just returned to the UK after a wonderful vacation in Albania, where we stayed at this fantastic hotel. The entire experience was amazing from start to finish. The beachfront was absolutely stunning — the perfect spot to relax and take in the views. Our room was clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. The food selection was excellent so many delicious options that we were spoiled for choice every day! The staff were genuinely warm and welcoming, especially Sergio and Marcella, who went above and beyond by surprising our friend for their birthday. It was such a thoughtful touch that made our stay even more memorable. We also enjoyed a relaxing massage at the hotel’s spa, along with complimentary access to the sauna, steam room, and jacuzzi. a great way to unwind. Overall, a truly enjoyable stay. 5/5 — would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Albania!
This hotel was advertised as 5-star, but our experience was far from it. Our initial room reeked of smoke, and while a second room was offered, it wasn't much better. We ended up having to tolerate the smell after staff used floor cleaner instead of an air freshener. The room's temperature was uncomfortably hot with no individual control due to a centrally managed system. Vegetarian options were extremely limited. We were rudely denied a simple pasta for our child, only to see it appear on the dinner buffet an hour later – long after we had finished eating. This felt like a deliberate lie. The only redeeming quality was the spa; the experience and staff there were truly excellent and sweet. Overall, this felt more like a 3-star hotel.
I am speechless. This “premium hotel” is hell on earth. Let’s start with the surroundings: there is nothing near the hotel except more hotels and the sea (which is so dirty that I only went in once in an entire week). The food is ALWAYS cold and prepared without any care. In my opinion, there was nothing tasty to eat. There are hardly any soft drinks like Coke, Sprite, or regular iced tea. The suite is so overpriced that you’d almost believe you were staying at a hotel in Dubai. And don’t even get me started on the water – there were pieces of MOLD floating in it. Unfortunately, we only noticed this after a few days, so I don’t even want to know how much mold we drank. In the evenings, there is basically nothing to do except listen to some old music. The hotel promises a fitness studio, which has been under construction for ages (and still isn’t removed from the website). I can’t recommend anything about this place – except to book your return flight home right away!
