Hotel right in the center of Goteborg, next to the central station and big shopping centre. We loved the breakfast! Really there was everything and it was all tasty. I didnt expect the room with poor light and strange toilet instalation. While you're showering all the water was passing through the toilet and there was no such doors to stop it, so it was little bit uncomfortable. The beds & space around was enough! I laughed when I saw dumbells in the room for training. It would be good for someone who use to train such as me haha, but its anyway funny to see it in a hotel room. it was possible to leave the luggage after the check out so great!
Decent hotel Pros Good breakfast with plenty of choices Close to Central Train Station, Tram stops and the mall is very close as well Staff were very friendly and welcoming Clean room Cons The room was very cold even though there was 'heating' somewhere. We couldn't take a bath sadly because the temperature was way too low. Very limited seating in breakfast area so avoid the 'rush' hour at all costs. There was bread to cut it ourselves but some people were touching the bread so.. 🍞 😕
2 nights in Gothenburg for a conference, and was looking for a centrally located hotel. Good points are location to station, shops, restaurants, excellent breakfast, enough options for everyone, iron and ironing board, and hot drink facilities in the room. Bad points were that it was a very small room and difficult to move around, especially with a case on the rack and ironing board out. The bathroom design, and its shower position meant water got everywhere.... even outside of the bathroom! The 'gym' is very limited, elliptical trainer, treadmill, dumbells, and yoga balls... But in a small air tight room, with no air con, and a table fan I couldn't get to work. There is an onsite bar, and swimming pool, I didn't try either so can't comment. Hotel is good for a couple of days, room would have been too small for a second person. This was the first hotel room I've had which included wall mounted dumbells!
