Absolutely outstanding stay — the best service we’ve had in Bali We’ve lived in Bali for over two years and stayed in many hotels, but this one is truly special. The staff were incredibly kind, responsive, and thoughtful — even upgraded our room and checked us in early without us asking. The hotel is older, but beautifully maintained and full of charm. What impressed us most was how the team genuinely cared. After a storm, plastic washed up on the (public) beach — and within 10 minutes of mentioning it, the hotel staff had it cleaned. That never happens elsewhere. If I had known earlier that the owner runs other hotels in Bali, I would have visited them too. This place is a rare gem. We’ll definitely be back.

On this second trip to Bali we visited Seminyak for 3 days for some targeted restaurants, massages & shopping. Then we went to Puri Bagus Candidasa for the first time, for 7 days of relaxation, away from the crowds. It was perfect! Wonderful position, facility, ocean, etc. And the staff were amazing. Highly recommended

As one of the OG resort hotels on Bali, it still maintains its luster and charm. Although the rooms could do with some renovation, the resort is meticulously maintained while the service at reception, the pool, the spa, and the diving center is top notch. Given the reasonable pricing of the hotel and its services, I can recommend despite its somewhat off the beaten track location.
