I stay at Quest St Kilda regularly while travelling for work, and it never disappoints. The service is consistently outstanding—friendly, professional, and attentive. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-appointed, making for a very comfortable stay. The location is also excellent, with easy access to everything you need. Highly recommend for both business and leisure stays!

This was one of the best motels we have ever stayed. The host and staff went above and beyond to ensure that we were welcome and comfortable. The complimentary morning coffees in the lobby were a particular joy. We stayed for 5 days and each day our room was made up by house keeping which was lovely. We will be returning for sure.

I had a truly wonderful few day stay at Quest on St Kilda Road. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond — warm, kind, and thoroughly professional. I arrived early and was able to safely leave my bags with reception before they graciously accommodated an early check-in. I was also able to store my bags for a few hours after check-out, which allowed me to explore the area with ease before moving on. These little moments of care really set the tone for a great stay. The room itself was clean, spacious, and thoughtfully designed. I had requested a room on the back side of the building for more natural light via the laneway. While the staff helpfully cautioned that construction noise might be a factor, I went with that option and was glad I did — the double-glazed windows provided plenty of sound buffering, and I found it peaceful enough to rest comfortably. I ended up spending more time in the room than I anticipated simply because it was so relaxing and well set up for recharging. There were lots of thoughtful touches — individual room temperature control worked perfectly, the rainhead shower was fantastic, and the wall of windows with sheer curtains allowed filtered natural light in during the day with blackout curtains for the night. The in-lobby espresso machine was a lovely bonus, offering complimentary drinks like flat whites and lattes, and even a decaf option for me in the afternoon. While there were a few small scuffs and signs of wear around the room — completely understandable in a well-used space — it didn’t detract at all from the overall experience. Cleanliness, quiet, and a sense of safety are my top priorities when staying somewhere, and Quest exceeded expectations in all three. The location is also incredibly convenient — just a few minutes’ walk from public transit and easy to get around. Most of all, it was the staff that made this stay especially lovely. Their attentiveness, local recommendations, and warm demeanor made me feel welcome and well cared for. I’d absolutely stay again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, well-located, and genuinely comfortable place to stay in Melbourne.
