Quinta de Santa Clara

Paolo, who checked us in was the best host. Even if it was late and outside of his working hours, so took all the time to give us recommendations and help with the car rental. We immediately felt at home. Our unit was all what we needed. We loved how well equipped the kitchen was, the outdoor table and chairs and the swimming pool. We wished we had more time to spend in the property but the island has so much to offer!

We had two issues during the stay. One was with hot water, which was fixed right after a weekend. Second was a lot of noises coming from roof, which made sleeping very challenging. This wasn’t solved since it will probably need more investigation and effort. But for both issues the guys were there for us, trying to help us as much as they could. Everything else was perfect. I can’t give anything else than 5 stars. I think we were bit unlucky to encounter the issues, but at least we had support from very friendly stuff. Hopefully the roof noises will be also fixed for next guests. But I believe it will, since the water was fixed very quickly, and as we saw, they had to even dig through a big part of their pavement to solve it.

I must admit we felt here like home. Our house was very specious, well designed, modern and super comfy. It is located super close to the main road which let you access all the main attractions of the island with ease. On the other hand the plot is very big, super green and calm. You cannot hear anything but birds. On top of that the house is well isolated and it is very warm. We were here in February. There is a garden where you can get oranges and herbs. All in all it is superb ! !! In addition ppl who run this place are very friendly, they have a lot of recommendations when it comes to places and activities on the island. We could get better experience than this. Strongly recommended!!
