Quite Simply French

Superb !! Firstly, a fantastic restaurant. Staff are are all brilliant, friendly yet very professional giving a chilled atmosphere while serving beautiful, delicious French cuisine. The rooms ! We stayed a couple of nights and the room was fabulous. Spacious, comfortable, separate access from the restaurant. The team made our stay comfortable and relaxing. 👍🏼👍🏼 QSF overlooks the river and is a short walk from the town centre, making it a great alternative to any chain hotel group. This is a beautiful boutique experience..

Overnight business stay, so not target demographic. The room was amazing. No tiny detail was overlooked in making the room the best of this type of boutique hotel. Too many cushions and overpowering air freshener, but this is my personal taste. Didn’t try the food as my business budget wouldn’t stretch to the high prices. Sure it would have been lovely though. Friendly check in and easy on street parking.

Lovely little quayside restaurant with top quality food in a laid back atmosphere. Took a stroll down here from town (10 minutes at most) for a meal with friends recently. Everything was first class. As good as you'll find in Lancaster. Food was fresh, tasty and perfectly presented. From oysters, tartiflette and mussels to steak and trout, with a creme brulee to finish (not all mine), we were very impressed with the quality. Cocktails and wine selection were equally good. All capped off by a fun, accommodating and attentive staff. This is a higher end restaurant that is fully deserving of its reputation. Highly recommended for a quality evening meal in town.
