Racconto Boutique Design Hotel Adults Only

Just returned from a 2 week stay - absolutely beautiful and first class. Would thoroughly recommend this adults only hotel. The rooms are spacious and cleaned on a daily basis with fresh linen and towels. The staff are exceptionally helpful and friendly. Breakfast is traditional Greek style plus more - freshly squeezed orange juice and fresh fruit, a wide selection of pastries, cold meats, cheeses and savories. The pool area is extremely relaxed and well-appointed with towels provided. The bar area serves a lovely selection of drinks and cocktails.

The most memorable part of this hotel was the woman at the front desk. She was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. We wanted a last minute dinner reservation at a restaurant with a view of the sunset. Her choice was fantastic and she called ahead reserving us a table. The suite had a big garden view. In booking the hotel, we knew there was no sea view, so just be aware it’s on a hill and a bit far from the center. There wasn’t a plug in the bathroom which was inconvenient. The included breakfast was not fresh and had a pretty poor selection. Definitely room for improvement here. Overall, fine hotel for a one night stopover.

The location is not the best. Room was spacious and clean enough but for this price range you’d expect more, since there is no view! Also there is not a plug in the bathroom which is weird. The worst experience was the breakfast. Poor quality and it was not fresh. You have to pay extra for an espresso which is unacceptable (even 3 and 4 star hotels in Mykonos offer it for free!). The only redeeming part of our stay was the girl at the reception (unfortunately I don’t remember her name). She performed an excellent welcome procedure and provided us an outstanding quality of service. She is the star of the hotel and deserves a better workplace. Overall, this hotel is overpriced.
