Convenient location just a 5 minute walk to/from the airport/car rental location. Rooms are quiet, spacious, and with good sized washrooms and showers. The air-conditioning did not work well (it was more like a fan even when set at 17C) so the room was warm which made it difficult to get a comfortable night's sleep. Restaurant served excellent food and the breakfast was also good and starts at 5 am for morning flights. Service was very friendly and efficient. Good for 1-night.
Quiet room with excellent proximity to the airport but the very very strong air freshener smell EVERYWHERE including in the room and bathroom was way overpowering. I can only imagine they are hiding some other smell with it. The rooms are fully carpeted and the shower grout had mold. The impression I got is that they are hiding a musty smell? You can’t beat the location but just know what to expect. It’s a place to sleep before an early flight. Restaurant onsite was pretty good and check in was easy with friendly staff.
We stayed a night at Radison Blu Airport Hotel, Oslo after a long 9 hour drive from Henningsvaer followed by a flight from Tromso to Oslo. The location is perfect for travelers like us who need a good and convenient accommodation to rest for a night prior to an international flight. We had two rooms and both were clean and as anticipated kept in quality condition. We paid additionally for the breakfast and it was well worth it. The spread was excellent, chef did a great job! Everything was hygienic and truly deserved 5 stars. There was a cute nook for little kids as well with food and fruits/yogurt to keep them engaged while parents enjoyed breakfast. The cherry on the cake was this beautiful lady on the entrance of the breakfast area/restaurant ‘Solvi Vestgren’ - extremely kind and compassionate. She got us seated and we had the most amazing heart to heart with her, very knowledgeable as well. The only reason for 4-stars instead of 5-stars was the 40+ minutes wait time after we arrived and checked in due to some confusion the staff had earlier in the day and they assigned our allocated rooms to another family. Other than that this hotel was excellent in every way for us.
