I thought this hotel was really good. Our room was spacious and clean, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The owner was friendly with excellent English. The area around the pool is a little sparse and it is not that central, however, its only a 10-minute rickshaw drive from the main tourist area. This was a lovely quiet hotel and a nice place for a couple to stay.

This place is great. The staff was so attentive. I did not stay here but you can pay a fee for usage of the rooftop pool sauna, jacuzzi and steam room. The place was clean and the views were nice. There's also a gym. The fee was 50k for adult and 30k for kids. They have a full menu so you can order. They also have a full size fitness center. Promo is $50 a month or $500 a year. Buy four and get one free. The rooftop views were amazing. The backdrop is the Mekong river and landmark condominiums. I will stay here in the future. Enjoy.

They advertise it as refined...I would like to know their definition of refined. Corridors are dirty, and poorly illuminated, paint is peeling off the walls, room furniture is old. The ceiling at the entrance of my room caved in and came down!! They didn't even bother to clean the floor. Breakfast is terrible. I have been in 2 star hotels that were a lot better than this old relic. It might have been refined 30 years ago when they built it but they have not maintained it since then and it shows. I am a frequent traveller in all of Asia and know the standards and prices. Believe me there are much better/cheaper hotels in Vientiane.
