Great location by the lake. Not too far from the airport and very little traffic and wide roads. Most American could drive to and around here with extra caution. Very comfortable bed and room, however queen bed size seemed slightly narrower than American queen sized. If you don't speak Spanish, you can use Google Translate. Most of the staff don't speak English, but they are very kind. Lots of mosquitoes in the area, but they don't seem to bite. Food isn't very fancy, but really good. The grilled octopus was my favorite in the hotel menu. In the town, deep fried tiny fishes were delicious. Must try!

Checkin was fine. The property layout and location is exceptional. The room was very large although the furniture slightly dated. The bed was amazing and very comfortable. Housekeeping was good but unpredictable as to timing of servicing. It would be very nice if coffee pots were in the rooms so guests would not have to go down to the restaurant for a cup of lukewarm coffee. The restaurant has a nice menu and the food tasty although very slow coming from the kitchen. The bar is not adequate as they were unable to make a martini due to lacking very dry vermouth. I would stay here again.

Never eat there ever. Absolute worst service and after given a large menu were told we could only order from bar menu. There were 6 of us and literally had to chace a waiter down to even get us menu. Restaurant wasn’t busy food came out for 2 of 6 people then half hour later the other food came out. Food was not good and they didn’t care. Staff doesn’t care and would never go back. Unless you have really low standards I don’t recommend
