Red Pepper Popoyo

Only 4 rooms so not loud or party viby. Owners were lovely and very helpful. Each room has its own terrace with hammocks which were perfect to hang out in. Kitchen was immaculate. Only minor negatives were no AC in the rooms and it isn’t directly on the beach (only 2mins walks). Would 100% recommend though.

This place is a real charm ! It’s quiet, very well situated and very clean. The two owners are very welcoming, gentle and kind. Their attention for details is exquisite, you’ll have everything you need for a lovely stay at the Red Pepper. And if ever something is missing, don’t be shy asking them about it ! They’ll either be able to accommodate you on the spot or they will gladly show you where you can find what’s missing. The wifi connection is very good and reliable, perfect for working remotely if you need to. I would highly recommend staying with them for a few days, a week or even a full month. The place has 4 private rooms only, so it never gets super crowded and the ambiance always is very calm and chill. Thanks to both of you and your amazing team for a peaceful week in Popoyo/Playa Guasacate !

My partner and I stayed here for three nights and LOVED everything about our stay. The location is awesome, close to beach/surf breaks/little supermarket/cafes. The owners are so lovely and accommodating and the amenities are very well thought out (all the necessary kitchen utensils, surfboard racks, each room has its own rooftop terrace with hammocks). I also highly recommend opting in for curry night on Mondays too - delicious! And definitely order the key lime pie. Would recommend this place to anybody looking for chilled-out accommodation in Popoyo in a perfect location.
