We’ve stayed here a few times now, and the harbour view still never gets old — especially during sunset and nighttime. The panoramic windows in the room make you feel like the skyline is part of your stay. The location is super convenient for both business and leisure, and the outdoor pool is a nice spot to relax with the city in the background. One of our favourite moments was simply enjoying a drink by the pool in the evening — calm and atmospheric. The lounge here is also a highlight — great harbour views and a relaxing setting, with food and drinks of solid quality throughout the day.
Location great, rooms nice and spacious but they don’t have enough elevators to service the hotel so you can be waiting a long time for one. Even then they can be full so you cannot get in. A running theme of complaint for guests in the elevators!! I had to miss breakfast as the que was so long and I had meetings to attend. I mentioned this at checkout which got no response despite the fact I’d paid for breakfast. Also a loud alarm kept going off and I had to change rooms about 3 or 4 am. The staff member who dealt with this was very professional and managed it quickly and politely. But all in all a disappointing experience. I’ll be trying other hotels.
1★ — Very Disappointing Stay Currently staying here and wouldn’t recommend. Elevators: Constant long waits. Lifts stop on almost every floor with no one getting on/off—wastes a lot of time every trip. Noise: Ongoing renovation noise around the room, even on Sunday. It’s relentless and makes it hard to rest or work. Breakfast: Extremely crowded with a long queue; feels chaotic rather than relaxing. The worst part is the construction noise. If renovations are this disruptive, the hotel should pause taking guests or place them far from the work. This is not the experience I expect from a Marriott property.
