Renaissance New York Midtown Hotel

Great hotel near Penn Station. Very large and exceptionally clean rooms that you wouldn't necessarily expect in Manhattan. Great restaurants as well. I hosted an event for >20 people for a reception and the food was great and staff were very accommodating. The restaurant also offered great breakfast options. The front and back entrances, and the elevators were a little confusing at first, but made it feel like the hotel was very safe as the lobby area wasn't quickly accessible from right off the street.

We were very happy with the staff, especially the hotel manager who was on duty. There was an issue with our room (that was out of their control) and he handled with understanding and grace. They went above and beyond to rectify the issue and we were very happy. I would 100% stay here again just based on that. Otherwise the hotel was great, the views are incredible and we had a wonderful time there.

One of my favorite places to stay. Very convenient location and luxury feeling hotel. Everything feels well put together and I felt well taken care of and attended to; great staff. My only gripe with this location has been the soundproofing between the rooms. The walls seem to be concrete, but the sound seems to seep in from the window area of the room. I find you can hear what the room next to you is getting up to at night if they aren't quiet.
