We entered the Bahamas here. Customs and immigration came to the docks for a fee. The slip rates were excellent. A bit short on the staff, but Fritz did his best to make sure that our needs were met. This is a great, protected stopover for entering the bahamas. The entrance can be a challenge, but just remember to keep to the left when you're entering, and stay to the left and it will support at least 6 ft draft.

I want to love this place! Perfect location, beautiful marina, beautiful pool/beach, great tiki bar…actually very good food and staff there. However, we were here last year with a boat group and booked again this year with same group. Our unit last year was deplorable and this year was worse. Building K both times, one bedroom with loft. This year the unit was grimy, greasy dirty. Coffee pot found in DW was unusable due to being cracked in mold as was DW. DW, microwave does not work, nothing in unit for cooking in except very small fry pan and 1 1/2 qt sauce pan. Not enough eating utensils, oven will not clean itself, it’s dirty, therefore it smokes. The unit does have W/D, they work well, but there is a cinder block to hold washer door shut while using. Outside furniture? There is a table and one chair that is usable. The others are all broken. One a good note, I did complain and with help of a friend, was able to get a new coffee pot, cutlery and cooking pots. Note to people considering this property, you may do better renting through VBRO or Airb&b. That’s what others have told me

Run down in 4L tile was coming up everywhere it wasnt cleaned dryer wasnt vented HOTTTT. THE POOL AND BAR WAS NICE. people that worked at compound was very pleasant to us.
