Restaurace a penzion Zděná Bouda

stayed there for 6 days when grandsons competed in the European Karate Competition in town. Perfect hotel for relaxing, very nice clean room, two adults and two children and wasn't cramped. Nice en suite shower room. Breakfast was lovely and plenty to choose from. Meals and snacks were well priced and excellent quality. Great happy and friendly staff, nothing was too much trouble. The play area was lovely with everything on safety matting. Hotel set in beautiful wooded area. Walkers, dog walkers, skaters, bikes, scooters. Would thoroughly recommend this small friendly hotel. Love to return one day

I will just write about restaurant, as I haven´t used the hotel. It is partly pub for cyclists going to Hradec forests, but also they opened new more luxurious "winter garden". Meals are pricy for Hradec, but they were really great. We went there for early Christmas lunch and were there practically alone (hence photos). Had one steak, battered chicken with mushroom ragou and honey ribs. Great place, great views, little waterfall inside, great food. Disabled acessible, and there is also children playground.

Poor service, in fact I had to get the food myself as we were sitting outside and the waitress couldn't be bothered to come to our table. Food average but not great. Shame as it has a good location near the woods. Won't go again.
