Reveries Maldives

Best hotel in Gan island, location is just spectacular. Hotel has private beach area because of the time we travel is has only 3 guest so we had the entire one side of the beach to ourselves. Hotel food was good, room service was available and we used it couple of times. Pool was not accessible first couple of days but who needs one when you have amazing beach a min away. We walked around and enjoy local foods, beware it can be pretty hot when away from beach area. Hotel room was clean, specious. Bathroom was nice, clean and had a rain shower. Our room was facing beach, that was a plus. Travel around Feb-April, manager told us that is the slowest time.

It's an excellent guesthouse that almost feels like a resort... with private beach, garden, pool and pool table. Food is simple yet very well prepared and delicious. I've been to many guesthouses in Maldives, this ranks one of the best. Rooms are clean, comfortable and even has cable TV! Service is great and they really care about their guests. Most of the staff here has worked here for many years which is very rare in the Maldives. Excellent place for fishing, diving and snorkeling.

I stayed at this hotel back in 2017, when I came to visit the island after reading about the movie Star Wars Rogue One being shot here. As a star wars fan you should stay here, as the staff were involved in the production, they can bring you to the location of you ask them. The service at the hotel was great, and the dinner was good. Will definitely come back again if I ever get the chance! Friendly staff.
