Rio Perdido Hotel & Thermal River

My wife and I came here for our anniversary and we absolutely loved it here. I would 100% recommend it to anyone and everyone. The food was really good, you can tell they take great care when preparing it and use high quality ingredients. The rooms were incredible, probably the best rooms I’ve stayed in. The styling is second to none. Even the coffee inside of the rooms was very good and room coffee is usually subpar. We did the zip line tour with Danny and Caylon (sp) and highly recommend it, they were fantastic!

Rio Perdido is truly a hidden gem! From the moment we arrived, the experience was exceptional. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome—every interaction was warm, thoughtful, and genuine. The food was absolutely delicious, with every meal exceeding our expectations. And the service? Impeccable. Every detail was handled with care and professionalism. Whether you’re seeking adventure or relaxation, this place delivers both in the most unforgettable way. Can’t recommend it highly enough!

Wow. Just wow. My husband and I enjoyed the first half of our honeymoon here. What stands out the most is the staff. They are absolutely incredible. From the moment we arrived, their kindness, humor, patience and motivation for perfection was noted. But the food and the wildlife? Out of the world. Highly recommend this hidden gem. Don’t forget to check out the thermal river, the clearest natural hot tub you will find!
