We had an excellent stay at Rooftop. Staff are friendly, with nothing too much trouble. The hotel itself is stunning. Urban is attentive and is keen to help out as much as possible. Next time we’re back in Gambia we will definitely be staying at Rooftop again!

The hotel truly feels like an oasis in the middle of the city. Beautifully and thoughtfully decorated rooms, a wonderful atmosphere, and a vibe that is absolutely contagious. It’s as relaxed as visiting a close friend who happens to own a grand luxury hotel. We enjoyed our morning coffee outdoors in bed on the top floor, overlooking the city, followed by a fresh breakfast with everything you could wish for on the lush patio next to the hibiscus flowers 🌺. After an all-too-short stay, I’m already more excited to return to the hotel than to the country of Gambia itself.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel in Gambia! The staff were incredibly friendly and kind, always going out of their way to make us feel welcome. The owner was also very approachable and made sure we had everything we needed for a great stay. The rooms were neat, clean, and well-maintained, a refreshing change from the previous 5-star hotel we stayed at, which felt more like a 1-star experience. The location is perfect, just a short walk to the beach, making it convenient for those looking to enjoy the sea. We are so happy we switched to this hotel. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay in Gambia!
