Decameron is an excellent vacation place, I enjoyed it with my family and we all had so much fun. The restaurants here have an extended variety of foods, all very delicious. They also provide natural drinks and small treats. There are also a lot of pools, we unfortunately didn’t have the time to explore all of them because of how big this place is, but the ones we went in were very nice. Here they also do several activities throughout the day like, bingo, prize winning games and live music. At night they do karaoke which we enjoyed and the shows here are a must see. It did rain for the two out of three nights we stayed here so the show was canceled. On the last night we were able to catch the show and the dancers were incredible. The rooms that they gave us were comfortable and a nice refresher after a hot day. Overall Decameron has now become my go-to place to come on a nice family vacation.

We enjoyed the entertainment in the pool area, games and the night time shows. We went to the children’s show, and my son had so much fun and even participated. Highly recommended their nightly shows

Disappointing Experience – Would Not Return I stayed at this resort with my family and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. From the moment we checked in at 3 PM, we were immediately asked to make three different reservations for dinner that night, breakfast the next morning, and then lunch. I was under the impression that the buffet would be open at all times, especially for families with kids who might not like the restaurant options. That wasn’t the case. If you don’t make a reservation, you’re basically left with the limited snack bar, which only opens at certain hours. One night we had a reservation for 8 PM, but it was pouring rain and the walk was long. I asked if we could get room service instead, and was told they don’t offer it so we were forced to go out in the rain just to eat. At the restaurant, my daughter wasn’t hungry at the moment, and I asked for a to-go tray so she could eat later. They refused, saying if she doesn’t eat there, she’ll have to wait until 11 PM when the snack bar reopens. She’s a baby how is that acceptable? I was truly upset at how inflexible and unaccommodating they were when it came to feeding children. The food itself was not good. Definitely not what you’d expect from an all-inclusive resort. On top of that, I was approached by someone offering a “special deal” if I sat through a 45-minute presentation but it quickly started to feel shady. They were feening to know what kind of credit cards I had—Visa, American Express, etc and kept asking to see the card, even though they claimed they didn’t need it. I told them I had lost the main card I was using at the airport, but I had cash with me. They kept insisting I needed to have a card, so I said, “I do, but I don’t use it like that.” After that, they went and told their coworkers I had no money on my card and started making a big deal out of it for no reason. It was really unnecessary and made me very uncomfortable. Then, they had me sign something, took a picture of my ID, and gave me a piece of paper with a “new deal” but the whole thing just felt off. To make things worse, they were questioning my relationship status like it was some big issue. I told them I came with my child’s father but we’re no longer together, and they acted like that was the weirdest thing in the world—as if people haven’t heard of mature co-parenting. It was invasive, unprofessional, and just not something I expected to deal with while on vacation with my family. Even after I declined the offer and walked away, the same man approached me the next day to say that I had “lied” about my relationship dynamics—why does that even matter? It was so strange and uncomfortable. Overall, this was the worst resort experience I’ve ever had. Between the poor food options, lack of basic services like room service or flexibility for families, and the invasive behavior from staff, I would never come back and would not recommend it to anyone especially families with kids. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!!
