Lovely hotel with spacious rooms amongst scenic gardens right on private beach. Lovely pool area. Buffet breakfast good, although most hot food is cold with exception of freshly cooked eggs. Good choice of items though, just a shame about feeding time at zoo with the coach loads of other guests staying there!
Biggest issue is no access to the beach or the water activities like kayaking (shown on the website) because it's all closed. The beach is behind barbed wire. Beautiful, well maintained grounds but it felt very strange as the resort is very large but there were very few guests. The pool is lovely and attended to frequently. The buffet breakfast was fantastic (huge selection and great food) and staff helpful but our experience at the Banana Leaf restaurant was not good (very slow service, average food). There aren't many resort activities and it was difficult to understand where we were meant to go, as the receptionists didn't speak English very well and told us to go to the wrong location. Lovely room.
Extremely disappointing experience. Beach access was blocked with barbed wire for nearly a month but never informed in advance. Rooms were faulty, service was poor, and we felt discriminated against as local guests. This is not a place for a relaxing vacation. We were “compensated” with mud bath tickets (which we didn’t want) and a room upgrade, but the upgraded rooms were in terrible condition: • No shower heads • Ceiling fans as loud as engines • Bathrooms without partitions • Rat droppings in the room • Faulty TVs with glitchy sound that couldn’t be turned off • Only one pair of slippers provided for the entire room • Poor soundproofing – we could hear everything from nearby rooms The service was equally disappointing: • Electric shuttle was completely unreliable – we called 3 times over 3 days and not once did they pick us up. • Breakfast buffet was extremely limited – very few options, and no chili peppers, a basic condiment in Vietnamese cuisine. • The chef refused to make sunny-side-up eggs for Vietnamese guests, only making them for foreign guests. This felt like clear discrimination in our own country. • Loud music played until 9–10 PM every night – more like a nightclub than a peaceful resort. We left feeling frustrated and emotionally drained instead of relaxed. If you’re looking for peace, respect, and basic hospitality, avoid this place. There are far better options in Nha Trang.
