Royalton Hideaway Negril An Autograph Collection All Inclusive Resort Adults Only

The decor is older than this decade. The curtains had holes, no need to open for sunlight it will shine right through the holes. most of the curtains weren't on track for closing. The water barely ran in one sink, glad we had double sinks. It's just like the other comments about the room and bed skirts. just horrible. I have to say I didn't for not feel safe. The food was nothing to write home about. The best thing was the Jerk chicken cooked by the Diamond Pool! The Hibachi was a winner also. I would never stay here again or recommend! In my opinion the Diamond Service was not worth it or maybe we misunderstood the what the benefit would be. It was nothing like the President service we had in the Dominican Republic. Everything shut down so early, we felt like it was a punishment for being Adults. Friendly customer service was missing especially with the female staff. I have no idea why anyone would give anything above 2 stars, unless this is their first resort ever.

The good: employees were nice and helpful. The food at the buffet was really good. I had the opportunity to eat at the steak house and the steak was delicious. The jerk hut was pretty good The bad: the resort is old and needs renovations. The bed skirts need to go in the trash and they need better sheets. They were so hot that I think they were zero thread count. Lots of scratches and imperfections that’s causes things to look dirty. Had a swim out room and as I was walking through the water to go to the bar there was lots of bird poop under the stairs. Pool closes at 6- Can’t get pool towels after 6 or before 9:00 so if you wanna lay on the beach you can’t get towels. Jerk hut and food truck closes at 5. If you go late they will be out of something. I’ve never been to a resort were the pool And some restaurants close so early! Are They trying to make us go to bed??? Wouldn’t go back…

I was hesitant to leave this review because the service was great. However, the resort is very ran down. Our room smelled like mildew. We initially had to change rooms the second day in because the ceiling in the first room started to cave in and we were upgraded to a swim out, which was just as bad because the room was just as old Even the pool was not well kept as tile pieces were broken off, mold and rust on the banisters, we checked out several of the rooms with hopes of getting a better room for an upgraded fee. However, none of it is updated. Everything is very old very worn down all the bed skirts that we’ve seen in each of the rooms which was three was dirty. The showers were very dirty. However, the staff was really friendly and it felt like we were on vacation just in a roach motel I would not recommend staying here. I cannot believe this is a five star resort while I’ve stayed at other Royalton properties in other countries and it was amazing. This was by far The worst property I’ve ever visited. I would not recommend this for anyone. The food and drinks were very mediocre. I would recommend leaving the resort to get good food.
