A fantastic place, really! Highly recommended. Beautiful rooms, good food, great surroundings! I loved it. Everyone is so helpful! I also really enjoyed the small hike down to Praia Sundy and Praia Magarita! Only negative part: The laundry below my balcony worked until 22:00. I would strongly recommend Management to finish at 18:00 so guests can enjoy the noises from the jungle (many monkeys and birds around) Otherwise: 100% recommendation!

I’ve stayed at many hotels internationally that claim to be at the top of their class. Hotel Roca Sundy, however, is in a league of its own. The property is incredible, food is fantastic, and while service isn’t perfect, it’s part of the charm. This place is special and deserves more acclaim than it currently has. Hope to be back soon!

An old plantation house with a lot of old world charm and grandeur. Moved from a large no-view ground floor room to a smaller upstairs room with a private balcony and great sea views. It’s a 15-20 minute sweltering walk to the linked (exclusive/separate) beach resort; and it’s decent base for activities especially in the north of the island (plantation visits, hikes, boat tours). Friendly, helpful service and lots of food as part of the included meals.
