Lovely the Frist night didn't mind the leak near the toilet as they gave us extra towels to soak up the water so we wouldn't be Splish splashon the toilet stay another night I change our sheets in our room as manger was cleaning rooms as must of been short staffed..next day they had placed in another room cheaper for the night ...once again there was another leak around the toilet .more towels and we informed the manger about it we had stayed there that night and we had one more night so I had placed all the wet towels and mats out side at the door asked the manger for clean sheets and towels .etc.and for the room to be serviced and cleaned.he had agreed ..went to have a spa ..WAS NOT CLEANED dirty ring around the spa..not happy so had to clean it before I could use it..came back at 730pm and expecting the room to be cleaned as I had the sign PLEASE CLEAN THE ROOM... sign-on the outside of the door. They had collected the wet towels but not replace them or service the room and charged full price..but very nice quiet and soundproof..
Very outdated but clean and the bed was super comfy. We picked the key up early and got back about 6 pm? No milk in the fridge, air not on..most of the stuff was outdated but clean and undamaged. No wine glasses! No, I would not stay there again. Reception closes at 4.30.
My Mother (85) and I stayed at the Runaway Bay Motor Inn in March 2025. Don’t stay here - attitude stinks. Comfy beds, kitchenette useful. But: the place is smelly, poorly maintained. There are three reminders of daily servicing - but there is no daily servicing provided. When we politely asked for the service given we were paying $200 a night, they asked us to leave. We didn’t as we knew we wouldn’t get the money back. My elderly Mother had to endure a cold shower, and TV was glitching. I cut some slack for post-Cyclone Alfred period; but it was the attitude of the owners/managers that stinks. Give them a miss. Gold Coast visitors deserve better.
