Salterra a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa South Caicos

It's hard to describe the beauty and tranquility of this special property. It just opened a few months ago after an extensive renovation and every inch, every detail is stunning. The atmosphere is luxurious but also relaxed. The open spaces, rooms, amenities and views are all spectacular. And the staff is equally impressive. Everyone we encountered was friendly, attentive, and eager to please. We did several excursions (Caicos Bank, Reef Snorkeling - the boats are anchored right off the private beach) and the crew was top notch. We even decided to get scuba certified while we were here because Edgar and Cap made it so safe, easy and fun. The food, drinks, spa (best massage I've ever had) were all first-class. And with the new American flights to/from Miami to South Caicos, the travel is a breeze. Book this magical place now before it's sold out year round! Thanks to everyone at Salterra for an exceptional vacation. We look forward to returning next year.

We visited Salterra with our family and a few other families, and it did not disappoint! The AA direct flight from Miami on Saturday and Wednesday was easy, and the resort took great care of us from the moment we came through customs. Food was excellent, as was the warm, personalized service throughout. Their Adventures team is top-notch - do not visit without getting out on the water for snorkel, scuba, or bone fishing! For our family, the resort struck a perfect balance between luxury and comfort - kids were able to swim in one of three pools without disrupting the peace of those who just want some quiet and a cocktail. Also, their kids club is so charming, and conveniently located next to the gym and the Adventures / Excursions office. We will be back!!

I had an amazing time at the beautiful Salterra! All of the staff were so friendly, all rooms are ocean view and decorated beautifully, and the serenity of the pool and beach area allowed us to completely unwind. The attention to detail is noticeable, from the incredible spa to amenities to adventure opportunities. Our kayaking and off-road jeep tour was especially memorable and fun, with a knowledgeable guide and unique ecosystem! Would definitely return to this little piece of paradise!
