Sand Acres At Bougainvillea

We had a great family trip. We've been to quite a few Caribbean locations in the past and Barbados was definitely one of the best. As a family we enjoy good food when we're on vacation, something for everyone in the family and not just Seafood choices. Barbados was great for this we can't say we had a bad meal. Bougainvillea especially add good choices and food choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The rooms were always good and clean. Air conditioning work very good. The staff was very friendly and always willing to help out. My wife and two daughters had massages on site and they said they were excellent. Weird recommend Bougainvillea Barbados Resort.

Lovely hotel next door to Sandals. Friendly staff, very spacious rooms and decent kitchens allowing you to prepare ample meals. Pools are OK but would have liked bigger. Swim up bar gets busy, especially around happy hour. Seaweed seemed to be a constant issue on the beach while we were here but didn’t cause any problems. Onsite restaurant Calabash is nice as is Deia Beach next door.

My wife and I stayed here for a short weekend trip. We really enjoyed spending time at the property’s beach. Chairs are provided and the staff is great about helping set up umbrellas. In addition, they also clean up the sargassum that washes up in the summer months. We rented a car for our stay and had no problem with parking at the hotel. The hotel’s breakfast restaurant was tasty. We preferred ordering from the menu rather than the buffet. The only issue I could see people having here is the lack of numerous chairs around the pool. We didn't have a problem on our stay. However, if you come during a peak holiday, chairs could become competitive. Use pick up Caribbean if you don’t have a rental car or partake in too much happy hour. It’s an app similar to Uber. Great place, great people! May 25
