Santana Hotel & SPA

The staff were extremely helpful and very friendly. Breakfast had a great selection of food. It’s situated in a very convenient location as there is a 24hr shop next door and the sea front is minutes away by walking. Lots of restaurants and bars near by. Drinks were reasonably priced. Definitely would recommend coming here.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Santana! The rooms were clean and comfortable, the location is excellent – close to the sea, shops, and restaurants – but what truly made our experience special was the amazing staff. Everyone was incredibly kind, professional, and always ready to help. All compliments to the team – you made us feel truly welcome. We’ll be happy to return!

The staff were really lovely, on arrival they allowed us to check in early once the room was ready for no extra fee. Whilst we waited to check in we were able to store our luggage and had a really nice drink in the attached bar for a good price. The room was very clean, however our ‘double’ bed was actually two single mattresses pushed together with two separate single duvets. The air con worked intermittently but did at times have an unpleasant odour, we ended up just keeping the curtains drawn and balcony shut and the room stayed fairly cool. The breakfast downstairs was standard, the hot food was nice but the fruit selection was quite limited. The lifts also were not great, they often did not come when called and took you to the wrong floor, another guest mentioned this had been an ongoing issue for a year. Overall, it worked for us as we spent more time outside the hotel exploring the island and only really stayed there for breakfast and a place to sleep. In my opinion, this hotel is not a 4 star hotel, in comparison to other 4 star hotels in the area that friends were staying in which had many more amenities and far nicer rooms. There was a rooftop pool and indoor pool but we did not make use of these so cannot comment on the cleanliness of these.
