Santos Hotel

Decent hotel with reasonable price tag. Location is great as only 3 mins walk to MRT station, many convenient stores and shops, cafes, also food places nearby. The room was dated however quite clean and tidy, AC was strong enough too. Only downside is the bed was a bit too hard, if you are not used to very hard bed you may not able to get a good sleep. Staff were friendly, and acted pretty quickly when we mentioned about the drain issue in the bathroom. I would definitely come back to stay here next time when i visit Taipei again.

I recently stayed at this hotel and unfortunately, it did not meet my expectations. The most concerning issue was the pervasive smell of mold coming from the ventilation and air conditioning systems throughout the building, which made the stay quite uncomfortable. The hotel itself feels old and in need of renovation, especially in terms of infrastructure. The breakfast was very limited, with little variety and not many healthy or fresh options available. On a more positive note, the staff were very friendly and helpful, which made a difference. Cleanliness was acceptable, although not exceptional. Additionally, the hotel is conveniently located near a metro station, which makes it easy to get around the city. Overall, while the location and staff are commendable, the condition of the facilities and poor air quality make it hard to recommend without some improvements.

This hotel is by far the worst hotel we ever stayed and we had to leave 1 day earlier and move to another hotel. Yes, that’s how bad this is. -the room is dirty and full of stain on wall, ceiling and furniture -the room smell bad and damp, AC not working properly -mould found next to AC vent -a used plaster sticked onto my bed sheet -staff refuse to change room for us even we showed them the evidence -will never stay here again -my friend and family felt sick after staying in this hotel Please be prepared if want to stay here
